Bloomlingo offers Spanish, French and Italian courses of varying levels, all structured to cover the CEFR levels of proficiency; i.e. A1, A2, B1, B2,etc. Each course is intensive and systematic in nature aimed to equip the student with communicative competence.. Our courses are designed to put the student in contact with a broad range of linguistic variants granting a multicultural perspective.
We follow a communicative approach to teaching, with a special focus on grammar and vocabulary. The fundamental aim is to help the student learn to effectively communicate in foreign language within a large variety of contexts and situations. Students learn to apply the language with a practical purpose in real and concrete situations.
As we offer Weekday (Mondays to Thursdays) and Weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) courses, you can complete each level in approximately 5 to 10 weeks. This means that to complete all 8 levels, with little gaps between courses, you can learn Spanish in a duration of 1 to 1.5 years.
Knowing a foreign language that is as widely spoken and in demand will most definitely increase your job prospects in various fields and industries. Most companies require linguists with a minimum proficiency level of B2, coupled with a specific background.
Upon successful completion of each course, you will obtain the Bloomlingo Certificate of Proficiency corresponding to your achievement of that particular level.
In case you miss a class due to unavoidable circumstances, you will be able to schedule a recovery class to cover what you missed. Please note recovery classes are chargeable as they scheduled one to one with our teacher, outside of the regular class hours. The number of hours recommended would be guided by the amount of content you missed.
We believe the effective way to learn or improve a language skill is through immersion in the target language, however complex explanations of grammar or vocabulary are often explained in English. Our classes are interactive and often involve the use of multimedia tools to help make the classes informative and fun.
